Free Range Games kindly provided me an early access key, which is available for anyone to purchase for $9.99 on Steam.  So I have got a chance to play the actual game for the first time.  It is indeed very early built and what I can do in the game is [very] limited considering what this game will be. Despite such restriction, it gave me the general feel of what this game is about and can be in the future.  So here is my first impression of early access play.

Labyrinth CCG is one of the most successful digital card game on kickstarter in year 2016, which raised total pledge over $150,000.  This is nowhere near the amount of Solforge (over $400k) or HEX (over $2 million) but very respectable number especially considering the game has fundamental design of combining tabletop game with digital card game, which is conceptually intriguing but technically hard to sell genre.  Although the game itself is not yet playable by public and much of content is still scarce in detail, play video are out there, most notably on twitch.  So let’s take a closer look at some of game mechanics in this game and see how unique/similar this game is compared to other conventional dTCG/dCCG.  First, we are diving into the most fundamental piece of digital card game design, the resource system.
