Many dTCG/dCCG promises mobile version as a future platform, but games that I have been eagerly waiting to be on mobile platform (HEX, Spellweaver etc.) so I can play more often are still not on those platforms.  Faeria is one of those game, I’d certainly play more with iOS support.  Guess what?   Developer is starting closed beta testing for the iOS version very soon!

Faeria has recently opened up for free to play for everyone on Steam.  This game; however, has a long history than some of you have imagined.  My very original coverage of this game actually goes back to 2013 while the game was still on kickstarter.  The game was lost on my radar for awhile and I had missed couple opportunity for limited free trial so I have finally got a chance to play this game, and feel comfortable writing my true first impression about this game.

For those of you who have forgotten, this is the game attempted kickstarter end of last year around the same time as Labyrinth CCG.  Personally, I found WoT to be one of most intriguing dTCG since the HEX.  Due to lack of publicity, the game was not able to attain its goal on kickstarter, but the game is still alive.

It’s actually hard for me to say dTCG/dCCG being unique at this point as they all seem to share lots of similarities, which I can’t blame as I see all First Person Shooter (FPS) essentially the same at its core.  But Faeria may be one of those game that may well deserve the word “unique” dCCG.  The game is coming to Free to play on August 24, so you can decide!
