I was asked to review a digital CCG called Forgotten Myths by Anchora Games i.e. the creator of the game.   I cannot say anything about this game yet.  Because I haven’t really played the game.  But just briefly looking at the description of the game, and graphics of it, I thought it is worth mentioning on my blog as some of you who are anxiously waiting for HEX could potentially kill some time with this game.

This is the year of dTCG.  There are many high quality dTCG releasing/prerelease  this year.  Among the all, three of the biggest names are HEX, Solforge and Hearthstone.  I have not covered Solforge for a while, and there is a reason.  It just is not my personal taste (for now).  But now with the current pricing scheme, I am started to become a bit more tempted to give another try to the game.

Well from the alpha version, I have been saying the biggest concern of this game for its potential success that it deserves is “its cost”.  Now this is getting harder and harder to assess for me because this game offers some free reward options, which initially started out as somewhat like Shadow Era i.e. yes. free rewards but practically hard to get real competitive card using it.  Let’s take a quick look at the history of how it is evolving in terms of FREE rewards.  Of course the main reason why I talk about this today is “I love what I see.”
